The raw paper for corrugated board is the corrugating medium that is used to form the interior and exterior liners for packaging paper box and the grooves within.
Manufactured along with the raw paper for the liner, corrugating medium goes into the middle layer of corrugated board. It forms into rumpled grooves and enhances the compression strength of the packing paper to protect and carry products safely.
The backside paper is used for the inside of the box. Some products are waterproofed depending on the content of the box.
